About Robert Gebel, Managing Partner

Robert is a partner in the Property team. He has been working at Holla since 2015. He has fifteen years of experience working as a lawyer in project development and civil construction law. He supervises a range of property projects, both in the Netherlands and abroad. His clients include housing corporations, property developers, investors and (lower level) government bodies.

The conclusion of a deal that is as solid as a rock: that is the pivotal issue for Robert. Colleagues describe Robert as a true negotiator: results oriented with the ability to not lose sight of the interests of all parties. He prefers to settle problems out of court, but with his extensive litigation experience he still optimally protects his clients’ interests.

In his free time Robert likes to get to the bottom of problems: he loves buildings. He reads extensively about architectural projects and has deep respect for the creativity and daring surrounding the construction of buildings such as the Pantheon in Rome or the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

At weekends Robert can often be found on the sidelines coaching his daughters during their hockey matches, with – according to them – varying results. Luckily, when on the sidelines, Robert mostly manages to suppress his lawyer’s tendency to fight the referee’s decisions with a passionate argument.
