About Sara Salah-Hashim

Sara has been part of the Liability, Insurance and Transport business unit since April 2019.

She obtained her Master’s degree from the University of Groningen. During her studies, she explored a variety of areas by doing internships with the judicial authorities, the Public Prosecutor’s Office and in legal practice. She was also a board member of a legal advice centre, through which she gave legal advice. After graduating, she worked at the Arnhem-Leeuwarden Court of Appeal and the District Court of Rotterdam, where she assisted judges in their work. Because she found the legal profession – and above all the human side of the work – increasingly attractive, she made the switch in 2019.

In part thanks to her experience, Sara is able to analyse legal questions meticulously and substantiate her views clearly. Her working method is further characterised by a client-focused and pragmatic approach.

Sara loves to use her free time for long journeys, when she can enjoy nature, historical architecture and fascinating cultures to the full. Kitesurfing is another favourite activity of hers. On her travels, she likes to look for the ideal spot for kitesurfing.
