About Remco Klabbers

Remco started working for Holla in 2019 and he is part of the M&A/Company Law team. Remco did the double degree course in Law & Management at Radboud University in Nijmegen. During his studies, Remco discovered his passion for the diverse range of issues of a legal, business and financial nature that arise in strategic processes such as takeovers, mergers and restructuring. For this reason, Remco embarked on the Master’s programme in Company Law as a specialisation, completing it in 2016. The following year, he finished his studies by obtaining a Master’s in Business Administration, specialising in Strategic Management.

After travelling with a backpack and kitesurfboard for six months, Remco worked as an in-house lawyer at a multinational group of companies involved in dredging and maritime activities. In that role he mainly dealt with large works contracts for offshore activities.

Alongside his studies, Remco had a sporting career as a kitesurfer. Apart from Zeeland, the sport has taken him to many foreign coasts, such as Brazil, the Cape Verde islands, Sicily, Sardinia, the Western Sahara, Israel and Abu Dhabi.

In his leisure time, you’ll see Remco either on his kitesurfboard, racing bike, mountain bike or the judo mat.
