Jacqueline de Vries

About Jacqueline de Vries

Jacqueline joined Holla in 2015 and works for both the Health Law and the Liability, Insurance and Transport teams. She acts for care providers and institutions, and advises them on a wide range of issues relating to health law, from disciplinary complaints to financing health insurance including the monitoring of these areas. Jacqueline also focuses on more ‘classic’ civil law issues – indemnity insurance and personal injury.

What appeals to Jacqueline in these areas of law, is that it is real ‘people work’. These fields often involve people who end up in situations they never asked for. Jacqueline likes to help them resolve this. Colleagues describe her as committed, open and perfectionist.

Jacqueline likes to spend her free time with family and friends, preferably with good food and good music. As often as she can, Jacqueline visits Amsterdam, the city where she studied. She loves to wander along streets such as the Jordaan and “De 9 Straatjes”. When she needs to escape from the pressure, she likes to lose herself in an exciting book, preferably combined with a trip to an exotic location.
