About Hester Derkx

Since May 2019, Hester has been working for Holla Advocaten in the M&A/Company Law team. Hester did her Bachelor’s in Law at Leiden University. During her studies, Hester seized the opportunity to study for six months in London – an unforgettable experience in a city that stole her heart.

After her Bachelor’s degree, Hester specialised in company law and criminal law. She obtained a Master’s in Company Law from Amsterdam University (VU) and a Master’s in Criminal law from the University of Amsterdam.

Hester gained the necessary practical experience during her time as a student. For example, she did various legal internships, in legal practice as well as in the House of Representatives.

In her free time, Hester can be found on the hockey field or busy cooking a new (Italian) recipe from her favourite chef, Jamie Oliver.
