About Bart Vastenburg, Managing Director

Bart joined our firm’s executive board as COO in 2012. He gained the necessary experience in the business services and technology sectors as, among other things, an in-house lawyer and by holding various management positions. Bart studied Dutch Law, graduated from Grotius Law Academy, obtained an MBA at London Business School, and attended the program Leading Professional Services Firms at Harvard Business School.

Bart’s position as COO is incredibly diverse. This especially applies to working in the legal profession, a highly dynamic sector in which a great deal is going on. Bart is a motivator: he has a great deal of energy which he knows how to bring across to others in a natural way. He is also able to maintain a bird’s eye view of the large number of cases that a law firm like ours may be handling at any one time, whether they concern individual and personal matters, technological innovations, commerce, or general strategic policy lines.

Bart has had an affinity with Spanish-speaking countries from a young age. He was born in Spain, grew up in Latin America and eventually married a Spanish woman. He also took up his position at our firm with a spirited ‘Hola, Holla!’
